How to Connect Instagram to Claude (claude.ai, Desktop & Claude Code)

Connect your Instagram & Facebook automations to Claude with Tendrify — one-click in claude.ai and the desktop app, or one command in Claude Code.

Claude is great at turning messy data into clear answers. Connect it to Tendrify and it can work with your real Instagram and Facebook automation data — results, leads, orders, scheduled posts — and set things up for you when you ask.

  1. 1Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. 2Name it Tendrify and paste https://tendrify.in/api/mcp. Claude detects the sign-in method automatically — keep the defaults.
  3. 3Click Connect, sign in to Tendrify, and choose Read only or Read & write.
  4. 4Optional: in the connector's tool permissions, set read-only tools to always allow so reports run without prompts, and keep write tools on "Needs approval".

Claude Code

  1. 1In Tendrify, go to Settings → AI agents & API and create a key (Read only or Read & write).
  2. 2In your terminal run: claude mcp add -s user --transport http tendrify https://tendrify.in/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"
  3. 3Start a new Claude Code session — the Tendrify tools load automatically.

Treat keys like passwords: never paste them into a shared chat or screenshot. If one leaks, revoke it in Tendrify and create a new one.

What to ask Claude

  • "Compare this month's automation results with last month and tell me what changed."
  • "Which of my automations are switched off, and should any be on?"
  • "Schedule this image as a post on @myaccount for Friday 7pm with this caption: …"
  • "Write a weekly client report for each of my connected accounts."

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the Claude Max plan?

No specific Claude plan is required by Tendrify — any Claude plan that supports custom connectors works. On Tendrify's side you need a paid plan.

Can Claude see my DMs?

Claude sees the data Tendrify's tools return: accounts, automations and their stats, contacts and leads, products, orders, scheduled posts and results. It can't read your full inbox.

Can I connect more than one Claude account?

Yes. Each connection appears separately in Tendrify → Settings → AI agents & API, where you can disconnect any of them.
